Crafting Beauty :: A Fashion Photography Workshop with Three Models

Workshop Overview

This is a workshop event that concentrates on a delicate element of fashion photography – implied nudity. This workshop will feature three beautiful, fashion models - a redhead, a blonde and a brunette. They are looking forward to working with the photographers to create tasteful, implied topless images. During the workshop each photographer will have a chance to photograph all three models in group poses.

Following this workshop photographers should be able to:

• Explain different ways to pose implied nudity
• Show images that capture the grace and beauty as well as the sexiness of fashion photography
• Describe clearly what they are trying to achieve when doing an implied nude shoot
• Understand the lighting techniques that may be needed to light an implied nude or semi-nude model
• Pose multiple models
• Describe the principles of composition that would apply to multiple models

Private studio time with models

Following the workshop, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, photographers will be able to book time with each model at $25 per half hour per model. CIS will provide three sets for the photographers to work in. First choice of model and set will go to the first photographer to register on line. The second will be next and so forth. Photographers should indicate their first and second choice of time period (in ½ hour blocks from 3-6) and model at the time of on-line registration. We will only confirm one choice before the workshop to allow for additional bookings at the workshop. Note that you will be paying models directly so cash would be preferred. If you wish to have a different model release than the standard CIS release please bring your own and be prepared to pay an additional charge to the model(s).
