Beginning Japanese Rope Bondage :: Workshop and Photoshoot
Overview
 CIS welcomes Morpheous to lead this workshop. Morpheous is the author of the Canadian bestseller How to be kinky: a beginners guide to BDSM and has been a speaker and trainer at fetish events throughout North America and Europe.
All levels of photographers and bondage enthusiasts cannot miss out on this two part series enhancing
your skills in both. If you would like to sharpen your focus or bring an element of surprise into your
art, these workshops are meant for you. Come to both for a well-rounded education on how to use and photograph Japanese rope bondage or choose the one part that interests you. This series is designed to
leave you with more knowledge and broaden your creativity through the art of Japanese rope bondage and photography. Remember this is just the beginning of life-long artistic possibilities.
Morpheous will be bringing a selection of experienced bondage models to work with and photograph. There will be a minimum of 6 and perhaps more. This will give all participants an opportunity for hands-on rope work. Images of the models are on the sign-up page only as they contain nudity.
Part 1: Beginning Japanese Rope Bondage
This is an introduction that is geared towards photographers who want to incorporate the fundamentals of Japanese rope bondage into their shoots. You will learn how to tie sexy models into intricate Japanese rope bondage. You will learn how Japanese rope bondage can be graceful, elegant, beautiful and deliciously wicked. This workshop will cover the basics of selecting rope type, care & safety, and three simple ties that will open the door to endless possibilities. This is a hands-on workshop; you will have the opportunity to practice on beautiful models as you learn. There will be some traditional Japanese hemp rope available for practice, but if you already have your own bring it along. Alternatively white 1/4" nylon rope that has a twist rather than a braid will be useful for you if you want to purchase ahead of time.
The models MUST be treated with respect and dignity at all times as they will be in various states of undress from partial to full nude. Anyone who is inappropriate with the models will be removed from the workshop.
Part 2: Shooting Japanese Rope Bondage
The second half of our Japanese Rope Bondage intensive afternoon gives you the opportunity to shoot intricate rope bondage created by Morpheous with beautiful models in partial and full suspension. You
will see elaborate ties that are used for the erotic restraint of the female form demonstrated. The
technical advisors from Creative Image Studios will discuss the technical concerns and issues of existing light, strobes, on and off camera flashes and even lighting purchased at Home Depot. These techniques will be demonstrated to maximum effect for your learning. This workshop will show you the tricks to creating beautiful bondage photography.
